Lists & Data

Lists that keep themselves current.

Sanctions, country and FATF lists download on their own schedule, skip files that did not change and report every run in plain words. Each party becomes one master record, and every record shows what changed and when.

Every list version is pinned and recorded in the version vector of each decision.

Official lists, read in their own format.

Built-in readers for the main sanctions authorities and for country lists. Any other file is mapped column by column, and test-read before it goes live.

FATF

FATF black and grey lists, checked every day at 18:04.

WICS reads HM Treasury’s published FATF advisory notice and keeps both lists current on its own. Countries also under UK sanctions are marked. A manual upload stays available as a backup.

OFACBuilt-in reader

OFAC SDN and other OFAC lists

Sibling OFAC lists join one family by their UID, so a party published twice stays one party.

EUBuilt-in reader

EU Consolidated

The EU financial sanctions list, read exactly as the EU publishes it.

UNBuilt-in reader

UN Security Council

The Security Council consolidated list, read as published.

UKBuilt-in reader

UK OFSI

Keyed by the OFSI Group ID, with each sanctions regime kept in words.

AUBuilt-in reader

Australia DFAT

Australia’s consolidated list, read from its own spreadsheet format.

Built-in reader

Country lists

Countries under EU, UK, OFAC and UN sanctions, each source kept as a list of its own.

Mapped by you

PEP & adverse media

Your provider’s PEP and adverse-media files, mapped once, then automated like every other list.

Your own

Internal lists

Your bank’s own lists, with per-list permissions and four eyes on every change.

Any other file, mapped column by column.

Give WICS the file’s web address, map each column to a master-record field, and test-read the list before you switch it on.

Every run

Each run checks, loads and explains itself.

A SHA-256 digest check comes first, so an unchanged file is never downloaded again. A changed file goes Download → Ingest → Normalise → Match, and every run ends with a status in plain words — with an explanation when something fails.

Running…

Its own schedule

Every list downloads on the timetable you give it.

Run now, or force a schedule

Start a list straight away, or fire its schedule early — no waiting for the clock.

Clear source data

One clear, and nothing restarts by itself: the list waits until you run it again.

Master records

One party, one master record, however many lists name it.

Records from different lists merge when your matching rules say so, or when the AI is at least 95% sure. Otherwise the record becomes its own master. Nothing waits in a decision queue.

Illustrative — invented names and figures.

A rule per entity type

Individuals, entities and vessels each have their own rule. A field with no rule is never compared, and a word of three letters or fewer never proves identity.

AI trained on your decisions

The model learns from your bank’s own past merge decisions. It is used only once it has enough examples of both outcomes.

Same file, two parties

Two records from the same source file never merge: the publisher listed them as two parties, and so does WICS.

Every value, exactly once

Each source value reaches the master record once. When two lists disagree, both values stay, shown as “Source: value”.

Structured aliases, typed IDs

An alias keeps its name, type, category and script. IDs are typed: passport, national ID, tax ID.

Addresses, weighted by you

Addresses are split into components, and your bank sets the weight of each one.

Change status

See what changed on every record, and when.

Every record is New, Changed, Unchanged or Removed as of its list’s last download — with the date it last changed and the exact lines that changed.

  • Filter any list by status in one click
  • A timeline of field lines added and removed
  • Removed records stay visible, marked with the date
  • The same on Source Data and on Master Records

Internal lists & dictionaries

Your own lists, under the same governance.

Create a list by name and screen against it like any official list. You decide who may see and who may edit each list, and every change waits for a second person.

  • Internal lists created by name
  • Per-list permissions: see or edit, list by list
  • Four eyes on every change
  • Noise words and matching dictionaries governed the same way

Reproducible

Every decision knows which list version it used.

Each list version is pinned and written into the decision’s 7-part version vector. Replay a decision from last year and WICS uses the very same lists: 100% decision reproducibility.
