Payment Tracking · for Swift gpi

Know where every payment is, bank by bank.

WICS Payment Tracking follows every payment your bank sends and receives, end to end, by its UETR. See its status at each bank in plain words, the fees each bank took, and when the money reached the beneficiary.

For Swift gpi customer payments (gCCT), cover payments (gCOV), bank-to-bank transfers (gFIT) and Stop and Recall (gSRP).

Status in plain words

The Tracker speaks in codes. Your team reads words.

Each bank on the way reports a status to the Swift gpi Tracker in ISO 20022 code words. WICS shows the code and what it means, at every bank.

Confirmations

Your confirmations to the Tracker, sent for you.

When your bank credits, rejects or passes on an incoming payment, WICS sends the confirmation to the Swift gpi Tracker straight from the payment flow. The rest wait in one queue, each with a countdown to its deadline.

  • Credited, rejected or passed on: confirmed automatically
  • One queue for incoming payments still to confirm
  • A countdown on each, so none misses its deadline
  • Sent in ISO 20022, as the Tracker expects today

Since November 2020, banks must confirm to the Tracker the status of the customer payments they receive (MT103 at the time): credited, rejected or passed on. Swift calls these Universal Confirmations.

Alerts

When a payment stops moving, the right team knows.

WICS watches every payment on its way. Stuck too long at one bank, documents requested, waiting for cover, rejected: each alert goes to the team that can act, through WICS Notifications.

  • Stuck: no news from a bank for longer than you allow
  • Documents requested (G003) and waiting for cover (G004)
  • Rejected (RJCT), with the bank that refused it
  • In the in-app bell or by e-mail

Stop and recall

Sent in error? Stop it, and follow every answer.

Raise a stop-and-recall request for a payment sent in error or after a fraud. WICS sends it along the payment’s route and shows each bank’s answer as it comes in.

  • Pick the payment, then the reason
  • A second person approves before it goes
  • Each bank’s answer, as it comes in
